On September 17, 2016, Pinewoods Educational Foundation members conducted a 4.5 hour seminar titled “Interviewing Skills – How to get your Perfect Job” at 58 Pinewoods, in Troy, NY. More than 20 students participated in seminar led by Dennis Powers ’63 and Rui Soares ’95 using materials developed jointly by Powers and Soares. The session consisted of an instructional presentation, resume and cover letter reviews along with mock interviews and individual feedback sessions. Matt Miller ‘77, Doug Doskosil ‘83, John Baldwin ‘77 and Jim Manocchi ‘75 assisted with resume and cover letter feedback and in conducting the many individual mock interview and feedback sessions. The seminar preceded the Fall Alumni-Rush dinner at the Bill Pomeroy ’66 Sigma Chi Chapter House.
